E-commerce hubs: Close to half of 114 analyzed E-commerce portals in the Arab world are headquartered in UAE and Egypt

New research and analysis by the Arab Advisors Group analyzes 114 selected e-commerce portals in the MENA region. Not everything is rosy: 28 e-commerce players that the Arab Advisors Group analyzed in 2010 are no longer operational representing 27% of the 102 portals analyzed back in 2010.

New research and analysis by the Arab Advisors Group focuses on 114 selected E-commerce portals in the MENA region. The Arab Advisors Group selected these portals for analysis as they explicitly focused on e-commerce offerings. Arab Advisors ongoing coverage of the ecommerce landscape reveals that 28 e-commerce portals that were online and functional in 2010 are no longer operational representing 27% of the 102 portals analyzed back in 2010.
