Arab Advisors Group receives the first prize in Jordan’s Innovative Business Enterprise Awards in 2005.

An independent committee of nine prominent public and private sector leaders has chosen the Arab Advisors Group as the first winner of Jordan’s 2005 Innovative Business Enterprise Awards. The awards are patronized by HM Majesty King Abdullah the Second. Jawad Abbassi, Arab Advisors Group’s Founder and President, received the award on behalf of the company in a ceremony on January 16th. Her Excellency Ms. Nadia Al Saeed, Jordan’s Minister of ICT presented the award.

A total of 44 companies and projects were nominated for the selection committee for Jordan’s Innovative Business Enterprise Awards in 2005. The awards are overseen by the Jordan Telecom Fund for innovative ICT and ICT-based services and projects.

According to the awards committee, the selection process was very rigorous: Winning companies and projects had to fulfill many criteria including the company’s role in generating employment, exports, high value added services, quality of services and products as well as the company’s reputation and customer care and service.

Arab Advisors Group contributed close to 1% of Jordan’s value added ICT related exports in 2003. That figure is estimated to have exceeded the 2% mark in 2004, which underlines Arab Advisors role in the ICT echo system in Jordan and the Arab World at large.
